A very simple video of the MC just getting to work. Los Angeles MC, Bambu links up with an ESTA beat to bring to you this new track called “Brave Heart” for ESTA’s. I feel like this line almost sums it up: “ayo, manny, quit playing in politics and train”. Which is exactly what the Filipino rapper is doing in the video. Keep it simple and start working, don’t wait for the new year either!

J.Moy and Shynobi, of Drunken Fists, put out a new music video for their latest single “Time Don’t Wait.” The 2 MCs get some vocals from Oriana but looks like she couldn’t make the filming. Simple video showing their everyday “non-music” lives as the 2 Canadians get busy on their daily grind and laying down their bars on the mic (and paper!).
With the release of all these singles this past year you have to wonder…when’s the album coming out???

Los Angeles’s own Dumbfoundead dropped a new music video for “10 Rounds”, his latest single off theTake the Staresalbum. The song itself is completely dope-sauce with Breezy Lovejoy behind the production. Nicolas Heller then took the track and completely flipped it with some really crazy visuals because you’re really taken on a trip with DFD on this one. So so awesome.

These days the LA trio is known more for their dance beats than anything else but they decided to go a different route this time for their Christmas track, “Christmas in Downtown LA.” The 3 MCs lay down some cheery, feel-good bars about their hometown. Reminds me a bit of the old FM, check it below:

A little while back Jin had released his single “Brand New Me” and now he follows it up with some visuals. Dropped on 12/12/12 the Emcee had an extremely busy year with the release of his Crazy Love Ridiculous Love tape, the birth of his first son, joining in on the 106 & Park Hall of Fame Cypher and now a new EP.
This one particularly strikes home more to me than his last release simply because it seemed like Crazy Love Ridiculous Faith was more faith/religion oriented? This time around he doesn’t really mention his faith but rather is out there talking about the lessons he has learned from his spiritual journey, especially on tracks like “Apology” and “State of Mind”.
Cop it on itunes and Amazon.
Tracklist:
1) Brand New Me
2) Going Places (ft Christina K)
3) Number 1 (ft ZG)
4) Apology (ft Joseph Vincent)
5) State of Mind (ft Christina K)
6) Feel Good (ft Toestah & Joseph Vincent)

Looks like there has been some new life over in the West and Game has a new one out for everybody. This time he recruits some Texan muscle with Trae Tha Truth, Z-Ro, Paul Wall (!!), Slim Thug, and Kanye West. Apparently, according to Ty Kidd, this song was originally meant for Game’s debut album, The Documentary.
